Its architect Baela Jamil said, “Children’s Literature Festival and the Teachers’ Literature Festival are now a populist social movement; in a short span of just over three years (Nov 2011- Feb 2015) the festivals are drawing urgent attention to the centrality of children’s learning through multiple intelligences and senses.”
Children’s Literature Festival Karachi 2015 is dedicated to the beautiful children of Peshawar who lost their lives on 16th December 2014. The Karachi CLF/TLF in 2015 is being organized in support “I Am Karachi” which is collaborating for peace and diversity; other partners include the Sindh Education & Literacy Department, Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, Open Society Foundations, Dubai Cares, Ilm Ideas, HBL and Oxford University Press.
